What the Heck is Tap Talk?

Every time I go into a forum on this site using my Droid it pops up a dialog about Tap Talk. If I click OK it takes me to the market place to purchase a 2 dollar Tap Talk application. Why? Did I delete something I should not have or is this forum pushing some useless app or do I really need it to post and read stuff on this forum?

It is just an app to make browsing forums who choose to utilize taptalk's software "easier". It is not needed in anyway.

I click cancel every time it pops up. It's annoying to have to click that pop up every time I navigate. Just some feedback for the owners/mods of this forum. The more annoyed I get the less likely I am to respond gently to silly questions and topics...LOL

I'm kidding...I love this place!

Installing the free version certianly does not make the annoying pop up go away. What a useless app. I guess I'll have to use my laptop to read and participate in the forums from now on. That's a real drag for me but probably good for everyone else.

Nope, pops up for me every time too. Pisses me off. I stopped surfing the forums from my phone.

i use tap talk a lot. I love how i could surf forms faster than using the browser.

Can you search "new posts" with tapatalk?

When I login to a forum it comes up with a list of "latest" posts. Which looks to be the equivalent of "New Posts."

I'm playing with it from home today, but spending most of my forum time on my laptop. So others more familiar with Tapatalk may chime in.

Question for those getting the popups:
I have Tapatalk pro installed and still got the popup when I used the browser. I cancelled and didn't get it again. Are you guys getting the popup multiple times in the same browsing session?
