What to do with this busted up Bionic...?

So a few months ago I have someone bring me a Bionic saying it's boot looping. Long story short, It boots up just fine but after about 3:14-3:20 of uptime it suddenly reboots. I tried all kinds of flashing that I could think of including custom roms, stock, all kinds of wipes, formats, clears, chants, sacrifices to the mobile gods and so on. I could not get it working properly again. He ended up buying a different phone from me and let me keep this one because he wasn't going to be able to use it...

So it's been sitting in my stock box for the last couple of months until yesterday when a friend busted up his bionic and I basically did a complete screen and housing transplant.

Now I'm left with this empty shell of what was once an awesome device. I really don't want to put it on ebay or sell it on craigslist or the local classifieds here. I was thinking about offering it to some devs to see if they could figure out what's going on with the phone but I don't know if those kinds of posts are looked down upon here. I don't really want to junk it, but I guess I could take it to the local electronics recyclers.

I don't know, guys. What do you think?

I would say that if it's rebooting after a certain period of time I would guess it's an overheating issue. Just to rule that out I would place in in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge for 6 hours and then check it again to see if it rebooted. Other than that it sounds like a lost cause anyway. If I were you I would have some fun with it. I would destroy it in a casual humorous way like pretend you get a call and have a fake conversation for a minute, say "Ok talk to you later" and then either casually toss it in the garbage, out a top floor building window, in a campfire, off a boat or bridge or simply out the car window while on the highway. The environment be damned for the sake of humor. :icon_ lala:
