Insidious 1 & Insidious 2: 8/10

I just watched Insidious 1 and Insidious 2, I have to say that I was very impressed how they masterfully tied the movies together. Usually horror movies fail when making sequels but they nailed it. The movie creeps you out to the max and just gets extremely creepy as the story plays out. I will be seeing Insidious 3 very soon

Jurassic World 10/10



We were able to watch it and it was not even in Imax just 3D ETX, let me tell you that it was everything and more than the hype. The movie was extraordinary from start to finish. It even tied in the previous movies. I recommend you see it in the movie theater, this is one you do not want to miss. We will be going back to see it Imax ASAP.

I agree... Saw this last night and wow. Very good. Brought back what made the first one so good. I don't care for 3d, but definitely worth going to the theater for.

Now, to find the time to go. Don't think my 5 year old stepson could watch it without freaking out and he comes back from his dads early enough this evening that I know we won't be able to catch it. Might have to see if the sitter that I have coming tomorrow morning wants to come back tomorrow evening.

If you liked the first two you should enjoy the third. I really liked it, and they did a good job of keeping the style and feel similar. That's usually my problem with multiple sequels. They start changing things, it feels more Hollywood, etc.

Insidious 3: 9/10

Went to a dine in movie theater and almost knocked my food and drink over when I was startled like a little girl. For a PG-13 Horror movie it scares and freaks you out to the max. I recommend you see it in a theater it was a great experience and would make an awesome date movie

Watched Jurassic World a few hours ago and thought is was a good movie. 7.3/10, definitely would recommend watching especially since I thought it would tank prior to seeing it.

We streamed The Kingsmen Friday night. MEH....it was so-so...had some great moments, but I'd only give it a 5 out of 10.
We watched Stonehearst Asylum on Netflix last night....awesome movie!

Zooman. Don't know if I could rate it fairly. We went to this zoo yesterday and then I found this documentary about what it's like behind the scenes. It's fascinating to me that this guy just started taking in animals and ended up living his dream of having a zoo. 400 some animals and 20 years later, he's still working harder than most people I know every day, even through the tough winters up here when there's no money coming in from visitors to help.

Hot Tube Time Machine 2: 2/10

Rented it from Netflix since the first one made me LOL a couple of times. This second part was agonizing to watch and really not funny. Do not waste your time on this one.

Star wars. Never seen them and I watched the episodes 4-6 and later episode 1.

I know I am going to catch heat for this but I do not understand the craze. I'm giving it a 5/10 @ best. They were not my cup of tea. I tried giving it a chance.

I watched Captain America-Winter Soldier last night. I'd give it an 8 for acting, a 7 for plot ,a 10 for injected humor, and a 9 for orchestral choreography. My favorite moment was when Stan Lee made his cameo. I'm not a big Lee acting fan or anything but it was just funny . I'd say the that's my favorite overall theme of all the Avenger movies. The humorous parts tossed right into traumatic scenes. "Is anything fully functional?" . "The air conditioning is fully functional" during an automobile chase scene was just classic Avenger ironic humor.
