What's so great/ Not so great about ICS

I'm hoping to have the same attitude as Buford's. Bionic got left behind with lots of potential. ICS will step this baby up. Waiting patiently with my 50 buck certified pre owned Bionic, with my 8gb micro SD card. Got an 16gb card coming in the mail from 1 day sale for less than 9 bucks.

I'm surprised so many people are so down on ICS. It's a major upgrade all-around.

I especially like webtop 3.0. The lapdock was pitiful with the old webtop- now its freakin awesome.

Bbp, do you not believe that moto and VZW also read these forums? Yeah, we are crash test dummies for them but we are willing crash test dummies. This is how we get better products and better OS's. Don't want to load the leak, then don't load the leak. Don't want to be a tester, then don't test. We can do it without you. And by the way, when they do release the OTA and it knocks your socks off, YOU ARE WELCOME.

i didnt even mention it and you already thinking i havent tested any of it, thats some reading understanding you have or is it your imagination

not one of the ics leaks will be ota untill they able to fix the laptop dock issues with stock browser and some other minor bugs
i'm just stating people will start comparing the ics leaks to gb and gb roms thats why i think its pointless
and i'm sure moto and verizon will read all the thread they can find about development but most of the things here already been pointed out many times and people still ask about it because they don't read all/most of the post being posted in those 2231 2233 229 threads
you'll get much more info if you would read those thread particularly for any of the ics leaks either in driodhive, rootzwiki, droidforum, xda

i'm glad each new ics leak is getting better and more polish than the previous leaks
i have flash the ics leaks and fz back to 902 just to flash the newer leak to test how it progress

See.....now there's some healthy discussions.... nothing wrong with members mentioning what about ICS they like or dislike... I was really underwhelmed with it because of being on a stable .901 with a 'custom' ROM Eclipse 3.0, further enhanced with my own tweaks and visuals... if I had heard more about what people liked or disliked about any of the ICS leaks, I wouldn't have been exp[ecting soooooo much

...that being said, I personally really hate the way they went backwards in how many of the menus are set up, I just can't get past it... but I am starting to see many positives as time has gone by, I really like the settings access from the noti pulldown, battery life does seem better than any of the OS versions I've had (custom or not), and it appears to be the snappiest my Bionic has been..I'll grant it that... but I have to say again that they F'ed Up royally when they decided to make many of the menus as a convoluted list , oh and another thing that has my ashsh all chapped is that I cannot seemed to get my Ming font to take on ICS as yet!!

Well stated mbk. It is the comparison between versions, leaks, custom roms and such that keeps the developers making things better.

Bph, i don't see anywhere in my post where I eluded that you did not load the leaks. I was just stating my reasons why I believe that these discussions are important. How else will moto, VZW, and the devs figure out what works, what doesn't, and what features we like and dislike. Talk about reading things that are not there.
