When is LTE going live in your area?

Ok.......thunderbolt? Or you have another model.

Thunderbolt. Unrooted, stock... I factory reset the begeezus out of it last week when it was acting up, and then applied the update on thursday or friday. And I'm using the "Speed Test" app from the market.

I just tried to DL a 3.8MB picture from my dropbox to my phone and it took about 2-3 seconds to download fully.

I am also in Raleigh and it is up and running pretty well, as I average about 5-7 download with up to 10 on the upload. As previously stated I think our 4G speeds will improve once they finalize and go live on 21st. Every other major city where I have used 4G I was getting way faster results.

In any case, it is way faster than 3G we had. However it is a mad battery killer. I knew this before we got it but underestimated my actual battery impact.
It doesn't help that I have to move all around a large campus at work with many buildings and it eats a lot of power just walking around for me because it is always changing from 3G to 4G and back depending on how far into the buildings I go.

PS - Don't be fooled by bars. Use a program or ROM that allows you to see the signal strength in db to compare testing speeds in different locations.

It switched back to 3g now, I'm still just waiting until I se the official word out
And standing outside near lake boon tr., switches non stop

Yeah.... I'm still extremely strong on LTE for 12 hours and counting...

You might have some underlying problems on your device.

I expect tiny Hampton Falls, NH to get LTE by no later than 2049. For some reason I don't think a tiny beach town in New Hampshire is high on the priority list for LTE.

Actually its back again, seems if I switch apps, or make a call goes 3g then comes back right away

But that sounds like a great place visit so maybe I could make that a destination and bring some economy to your town?

it is indeed, the NH and Maine coastal towns are all very nice. Lots of history and old fishing towns, lots to do. But unfortunately because of that history you have to walk through fire, jump through 642 million hoops and bring fruit baskets to the heads of the historic societies just to get a cell tower close to the beach.

In Raleigh, someone do a speed test with the speed test app please, let me know what server you used.
