Because it's interesting to see how the vote distribution changes as the hours/days go by leading up to an announcement from Verizon.

If the 14th rolls by with no announcement, it'll be interesting to see what everyone after the 14th starts voting for.

Where'd u get March 6th? If it were pushed all the way into March, it would be the 3rd or 10th. Verizon would never release a phone on a Sunday.

In terms of March being a release date I have seen people posting around saying March 6th. I haven't seen anyone post any other March day (literal day), so I threw in March 6th.

Personally I believe it will come out the 24th, with high hopes of a 17th release. I agree with you Verizon wouldn't release on a Sunday (I didn't look up March 6th on the calendar when posting).

I bear good news today I decided to make some rounds to five vzw stores and asked to talk to their managers, every manager, wothout hesitation and with firm belief when asked when theyy would get the tb, stated sometime within the next week these vzw stores are in close proximity with each other so no I'm not obsessed, just willing to get some answers from the field...pre ordered the tb on bb on the first morning (the 6th), and unfortunately do not have any info stating the release date of the phone on bb

I personally think Best Buy will release on the 14th as planned (and that is what they are saying here in Tucson) BUT Verizon will not release until the 24th.

That is my thinking.

I live in Tucson as well, and a member of the Best Buy I went to, (the one across Park Place), told me that the TB "may" be released in the middle of the month.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the 14th is perfectly the middle of February....but there has been SO much more new evidence now for the 24th...so, while I am hoping and wishing every second for the 14th, I am having to lean towards the BB member being wrong, and the TB coming on the 24th.

My BB is not open yet so I really do not know. I called yesterday and the guy got really rude to me and said that he was sick and tired of everyone calling that we would get called when they came in and then he hung up on me. As much as I was hoping for today (because this is my valentines/birthday present) it is looking more like the 24th. sighhhhhhhhhh

I pre-ordered mine at BB and they have not called me yet, they did tell me they would call me if the date from the 14th changed.

So much for that. Here goes another 10 days without a phone. =(

Not that this is important, as it seems the 24th is a pretty solid date.
I mean, i doubt verizon will suddenly release it at 630 my time.

Anyways, the not important thing is that Steve Jobs' birthday is on the 24th...
I find it pretty coincidental...and sort of funny.
Maybe he will buy a TB for his birthday and switch his whole allegiance.
