Where are boot logos located?

Put the boot animation you want in data/local or system/media (system checks data/local first so that's where i put them.
Boot logos; put the logo.bin on the root of the sd and in the toolbox, go to rom manager. Click on install from sd and find the logo file.

Did the second one and an error message said out had to be a zip file.

OK so I found this team black hat logo replacer. Dl this from my dropbox. Open it and replace the logo.bin with the red moto logo.bin. leave the rest the same. Re zip. Flash this in cw or through the toolbox. Fingers crossed.

Red boot image is stellar. That stealth animation is cool... But I'm digging the DX animation.
Is there a DX2 animation anywhere ?

Try heading over to the DX2 section of the forum and see if anyone over there has pulled that bootanimation yet. I always check different parts of the forums (DX, D2, D3, D2G) to see if they have some stuff that would work on a D2 like bootanimation or something else.

Just place whatever logo.bin you want into this zip and flash in cw. I think the one currently in there is the red moto logo, but I'm not totally sure
