Harassing Motorola about their bootloader is pointless. They do not appear to have any real motivation to stop doing what they're doing, unless their game changes to offering to provide an unlock code - for a price. That then moves into the area of extortion: "Pay us the money we want, or we'll break your phone."
Like I said, spend your money on a good phone (the HTC Thunderbolt) and reward a company who doesn't lay booby-traps for unwary users who try and fail to root their phone.
People people, moto said last week they are working to develop a more open developer based phone so stop the unfounded hate. The comment about the locked bootloader was retracted and does not state motorolas current view, sheesh
Motorola is just running damage control. All they are worried about is their image. They are hoping we will all forget about this. I guarantee they will not unlock the booloader until their sales diminish.
