It is running nice, but maybe you can help me trouble shoot this problem...I'm on rom slot one and try to install a couple apps, but its telling my low memory and wont let me download anything. I still have like 3 gb on my sd. Any thoughts?
I was also going to ask you what version of darkslid you use and where do you find it?
What ROM are you running? Boot Manager basically partitions off part of your SD card for the system memory. So while you may have 3 gigs left on your card, check the system memory. I believe Boot Manager does 972 MB for the system. You can increase that via the app I think.
I am running Darkslide X which is based on .596. You can find it in the Darkslide ROM section here. Only thing is, I had to restore a nandroid of Darkslide for it to work ok because Boot Manager has trouble with installing some .596 ROMs.

MIUI is by far the most complete and perfect ROM For the droid x. It has more polish in any other rom. it's the fastest rom by far with the possible exception of CyanogenMod. On the surface the rom looks kinda simple and elegant, but underneath you find a lot of work that has been done to make the overall phone experience feel more complete. If you haven't yet give it a try.

MIUI to me feels pretty complete also. Its like something that would come stock because it has so many features that just work. Settings is completely revamped. My favorite thing is the Music Player. Its amazing.

Its the best one I have used. It also has a built in mp3 tag editor that actually sticks if you wipe data or change ROMs. In fact, I stayed on MIUI for a long time just because of the music player
