How's it look with the screen on?

Hard to see from a picture, but in that top picture you can see the distortion on the edge of the picture on the wall. And in the bottom, you can see the circular patter in the center of the screen along that white column. Not the fingerprint sensor, too far down. I was looking at the iFixit tear down to see if there is anything there, and does not appear so. Could just be a bad screen.

I'm the worst person to ask, I got terrible eyesight even with glasses, that's why I love these monsters, I can't tell from the reflections

At the end of the day, it's you though that matter. I say use it for a week, if it still bugs ya, get a new one!

No different with or without the screen on. Worse outside in natural light though.

Now I see what you're talking about. When you hold the phone normally, do you notice it ?

Bummer, but how does it look with normal use? Is this only something you see at these angles, or can you tell it's there looking straight on?

Either way, doesn't look right.

Only seen at angles, and it does not actually distort what is on the screen, Just the reflections off the screen, not terrible I suppose, but I am OCD about stuff like that.

Looking straight on you don't notice it.

I would be too. That's a tough call. I guess worst case scenario you can just get a replacement. But we all waited too long to send it back right away..

I know, plus they are having inventory issues anyway. I think it would be awhile until I saw a replacement.

Don't they usually ship the replacement first ? Then you send back the defective phone ? If so make the claim now.

and that's holding it with still jittery hands. Think the thing works. Going outside in a bit take more.

This thing actually feels smaller than my note, it's thin & light. I likey!

Edit: and the fingerprint scanner works really well.
