also only reason I got the thing, otherwise I had no interest, so if it does indeed come locked and isn't going to be unlocked, i will the first to say I am sorry for everything I have said, only said it because I saw it unlocked.

sorry about any confusion, this is why i said if this is why your getting the device wait until its officially confirmed.

Just as a heads up to those buying this phone and only using the free 2 day shipping option, you will most likely receive your phone on Monday. Fed-ex does not usually deliver small packages to residents on Saturday unless the shipper pays a premium for Saturday delivery.

I have purchased a few phone on the typical Thursday release and all of them came on the following Monday.. this is the main reason I paid the upgrade fee to get overnight delivery.

I got my Sales Confirmation and if I check the status it says that it's been shipped but no tracking number yet.

I'm in the same boat. It's been a while since I upgraded so I'm not sure if that's normal practice with Verizon. I've also never upgraded on a release day so I'd imagine that probably slows things down a bit. Oh well, I'll try not to let my OCD sprial too far out of control. I just hope we both get our phones tomorrow!

I ordered 2 D3's this morning both with the Overnight shipping option. Can't wait to get it, I haven't told the wife yet so its a big surprise for her. I was somehow able to talk a superviser into giving me a manual upgrade on my wifes life which still has over a year remaining on her current LG ally contract. I don't know exactly why she allowed it but I'm not complaining.

One thing I'm slightly concerned about is this Pentile display I really hope its not as bad as what the reviews are saying...

confirmed unlockable just like the xoom

I ordered mine this morning and I got the overnight shipping with it so I will have mine tomorrow, once I do I plan on getting to work on the DC ROM for the D3, and I will provide a stock system dump for everyone who wants it, I don't know what time Fed-Ex will come, but as soon as they do I'll be getting to work on it.

Who else got one today? and did you overnight it??

Umm I don't plan to ever look at my phone screen under a microscope so something tells me I won't have anything to worry about. Another member said the D2 had a pentile display and it wasn't bad so I'm sure it will be better then the D1 I currently have.
