Who hates YOUR droid?

My wife hated mine when I first got it and especially after root. I was on it all the time. Then she was jealous of what it could do compared to her blackberry. Then she got one and loves it especially since I made her a custom boot logo/theme. Now she likes to show it off to her friends that haven't rooted their phones!

But why would I need them and the lower battery life and the faster processor.
I am probably going to get the incredible soon anyway and take this back. But there is not reason that I see to void warranty's and over clock a phone just for a bit faster internet speeds. It is just my mind set. Of corse I OC computers just not my phone.

I didn't tell you to OC, I just said I did that to my wife's Eris. And OCing doesn't make its internet speed faster. OCing allows for quicker app launching, smoother framerates in games, launchers, etc. That isn't even the issue though.

I just meant that a fast phone with a nice screen and camera is just more enjoyable. You don't have to NEED the nice screen/camera/power but it just makes the overall experience smoother and nicer.

I talk about my DROID all the time so much so my family is like "Oh there it is!" every time a DROID commercial comes on tv. Of course all I can do is talk because my DROID Incredible hasn't come in yet.

she is an IT director at a large finance company so she loves her gadgets.



most of my iphone friends are envious both of the network and the phone.

lol the sad thing most of her friends are the stereotypical iphone idiots. they got them because everyone else has one not because its what they want.

My wife doesnt hate my Droid, but she calls it my girlfriend lol. She's getting my droid when I use her upgrade for the Incredible, the story will change!! I think she will love it once I personalize it for her! Her only gripe is that it doesnt have a signature for SMS stock.

Had the same problem only I am the girl!!! My husband hated my Droid and how much time I was on it and on the forums. So, I got him a Droid, rooted it and basically shut him up. Now I see him on his Droid just as much as me. LOL

My girlfriend DEE-SPISES me droid lol it's hilarious. I used to give her crap when she got her iphone saying I was now number to so she gives me that whole rip back. I don't bother telling her anything new or cool that my phone can do that hers can't. But everytime a commercial comes on she glares at me. It's especially satisfying when we have google races when we're hanging out with friends and need something looked up....races that I win btw

Oh yeah I didn't mention in the OP that everytime that DROOOOID sound comes on before a droid commercial, my girlfriend ALSO says something like "Oh god!" followed by saying it's so gay and stuff........

I mean how much of a turn off is it when your girlfriend says it's so gay and retarded. I love her to death but saying it's so gay when she has no clue about it ( SHE SAID HER LV ENVY TOUCH CAN DO THE SAME THINGS!!!!!!! LMAO) pisses me off sometimes.
