Who hates YOUR droid?

My wife hates her Motorola Droid as a phone. She has terrible service - calls sound like crap, calls get dropped, people she calls can't hear her, every few calls the phone will screetch.

But she loves all the her apps and all of the other functionality of the droid.

Why can't she have both?

I have the Incredible and I think it rocks! But, I'm not having any where near the issues she's been having...

She needs to take it back ASAP to get it replaced.

We've replaced it once last friday, today is the last day of the worry free 30 day guarantee. Concerned we'll get another POS moto.

My friend Sean HATES my phone because he has an iPhone and I have everything he wants that he can't get LOL.

everytime something new comes out I send him all the info (like watching cruncheyroll on my phone LOL). He gets PISSED!!!

thats right i have replaced my droid every month for the last 5 months under the 1 year manufactures warranty and they dont give me any crap.

Damn skippy. Should be that way though, or shouldnt have to I mean LOL. Damn man EVERY month?? But yeah they better be BRAND NEW phones. I will NOT accept a refurb.

ya every month sucks i have to root phone then unroot to turn it in ect and they are sending refurbs every time.

Replaced it last night with another Brand New one - last day of the 30 day worry free. Hopefully the third time is the charm...

My wife doesnt hate my Droid, but she calls it my girlfriend lol. She's getting my droid when I use her upgrade for the Incredible, the story will change!! I think she will love it once I personalize it for her! Her only gripe is that it doesnt have a signature for SMS stock.

Don't be too sure, Verizon is making out on my wife, she barely uses any data on her droid. In all honesty I'm still envious of the quality of the apps I see for the Iphone. If the Iphone were available on Verizon I'd likely make the switch. However, I don't like the glass on the backside of the new Iphone, I'm too much of a klutz for all of that glass.

Yup... I've dropped my droid a couple of times and it's fine. The wife dropped hers from chest level and it hit concrete, the seidio case popped off but there isn't a noticeable mark anywhere on the phone.

I just wish that the Droid had better apps. My kids have Ipod touches and the apps and games they have are way better than anything I can find for the droid. e.g. Wolfenstein and skee ball (Wolfenstein takes me back to my college days)

Tried pairing it with Moto bluetooth, but wife wants one that plugs in her ear. Any suggestions on a good one? Was looking at plantronics or jawbone icon series...

the blue ant q1 is a good blue tooth that is what i use and it fits in your ear and comes with multiple sizes of ear buds for different sized ears. there is also a app for the blue ant q1 on android it will read your text messages to you ect. 3rd phone that sucks i have had 5 replacements because of the ear speaker.
