Who is going to...[Revisited]-Vending.apk

[Droid DOES!!]

Weird. I've cleared cache, data, and Fix Permissions caused my screen to go out until I pulled the battery.

UD 2.1.0 it was in /system/app

What rom are you using? Where was Vending.apk before you applied this one?

Just check and make sure every vedning thing is OUT in system/app and data/app and then try reinstalling this. It may not work but, it's what I would do.

yep.. when all else fails, I get delete happy and make sure all is gone. then I reinstall only what I wanted in the 1st place. if it works, im happy.. if not, I spend hours figuring out why cause I can't help it..lol

So deleting the com.android.vending and com.android.vending.updater in data/data would be ok?

yep.. when all else fails, I get delete happy and make sure all is gone. then I reinstall only what I wanted in the 1st place. if it works, im happy.. if not, I spend hours figuring out why cause I can't help it..lol

This is not my app.... this is thanks to Squidlymandingo for the update......and Thebowers for the orginal zip/.. this is the 2.12 and it doesnt force close!!!! whoot!!!
run a fixperm and/or zipalign_apks if it does but no problemes here. its post 279 for the download

THis should work on D1 and D2... been tested on both. remove old vending.apk first. then Install as a update.zip.

Be sure to Backup first just incase..... std rules apply. again send thanks to Squidlymandingo and to Thebowers for providing the zip !

Droid Does.. I'd make a backup 1st but yes.. because I am who I am (reckless), I would do it without hesitation. In my mind, those apps are messing with each other and confusing the phone. I'd clean it up and put only what I want on there.

I had the same issue Droid Does - my resolve came by restoring a good back up/flashing your ROM and after the reboot going back into recovery and flashing the update.zip for the Inverted Market

Using LFY1.95, no themes, and flashed using RM. I'm all good here. No FC & I am able to download apps.

Deleted vending.apk and installed as update didn't work. Its as if nothing happened.

this also works for me everytime. the only caveats I would like to add is: first make sure you have a market that is working perfectly fine. If your market is giving you issues, restore a good backup which has a market that doesnt give you any issues. and when you flash this make sure this is the only thing you flash at that time, dont try to multi task, just install this update.zip and reboot.
