totally different devices. droid pro is NOT droid 2 global aka droid 2 world edition. droid pro is droidberry.

Old news. My post was from 11 days ago. At that point droid-life's words (not mine) were that all three were the same device.

Once my contract os up for renewal, I think in about 14 months, I will be getting the Droid Pro. Pretty bad looking droid!

The more I look at the Pro the more I like...while I like the look of a complete touchscreen phone, I cannot type worth a crap using the touchscreen..even using Swype....I have to have a physical keyboard and the Droid/Droid 2 doesn't cut it....

I'll make my choice between the Pro, the HTC Merge, or hold out for LTE...

I have a D2 from a warranty exchange and I will be ordering one for sure. I love the form factor with the always available keyboard, I just hope the reduced screen resolution doesn't bother me.

I mostly read/respond to email and SMS on my phone, so anything that helps me type faster with less errors is good for me.
