Who is waiting for the OTA ICS??

I'm waiting ever so patiently. No more leaks for me, 5.7.893 taught me that. Even though there is a way back to the official path this time, I don't feel like going through the hassle.

901 is a non-official release. It went out OTA to some people by accident. It was posted here and some people (myself included) installed it. There is somewhere on this forum a copy of the OTA that Moto sent to just the people that Moto accidently sent 901...to get them to 902. You need to find that and install it to get to 902. Then you will get 905 automatically...then whatever the official ICS OTA is.

I may still have the 901 to 902 file at home if you can't find it.

Ahh I forgot about that... I have a file on my phone called Blur_version.5.9.901.xt875.Verizon.en/US.zip that is 22.54 MB. Wondering if that is it, think I dl'd it but never updated.

There's an app called SystemPanel (available both free and paid) that will show you what you're running at, as well as out both cores are running and data speeds.

I'm waiting also. My wife got ICS on her razr so I can always fool around with that in the mean time. I have had very few problems with my Bionic and an occasional data drop now and then. No 4G where I live, so I leave it on 3G all the time.

That is it. Apply that and you will be on 902 and you will pull ota 905 normally and be back on track. That is how I did it.certainly no hurry if you want to wait.

Glad to know I'm not the only one waiting. I do not have time to mess with down loads that may renderer my phone useless... I would not be happy.

I'm waiting cause when I rooted my Xoom and got impatient for the ICS update there, within a couple of weeks, it came out and I had to re-setup my Xoom twice, once for the ICS root (Which did eat up a bit of power cause I didn't know how to tweak the settings to eek out more power) and again once I unrooted and ota updated.

i'm on 2233? idk lol so many leaks. not upgrading to this one unless theres a statement on some amazing fix. omg its actually JB!!! (sorry for the started rumor ) but till some big change, i'm happy with the leak i'm on. works good makes me happy.

You can go from leak to leak without losing data and if you keep up with them, the last leak with be the official OTA.
