Why Does Gmail Move Promotions to Trash?

Several promotional emails we subscribe to keep landing in Trash. No matter how many times we move them, they land in Trash.

How do we fix this?

We use Unroll.Me. Does that qualify? Filters would take a lot of work—it’s more than 20 senders.

The real aggravation is that Google only provides support to business customers. Thanks for the input.

GMail is automatically moving these messages to the Trash folder, and not Spam / Junk Mail? I didn't know it would do that.

Yes. It sometimes mislabels subscriptions as spam, too, but that’s understandable. Moving promotions to Trash automatically is not.

I think you've clicked something there that prompts your promotions to be placed in trash, because they don't automatically go in there.

Any idea what or how? We certainly didn’t intend that. Also, it’s only a few promotional emails.
