Why HTC TB?

I know there are probably a million threads about this, but....

I have an upgrade, and will more than likely be pre-ordering the TB tomorrow.
I am curious though, what is attracting everybody to the TB?

From what I am reading, its pretty much the EVO, or I even read its just a bigger incredible.
So what makes it stand out of the crowd?
I mean, why choose this phone over the Bionic or Droid X?

Several reasons:

1) It's on Verizon Wireless, my current wireless provider.
2) It's a 4G LTE phone, and I can use 4G right away, since I live in the Pittsburgh area.
3) It has a front facing camera, ideal for me as I am deaf and use Skype and the video relay service to communicate with others.
4) It has a strong value potential, meaning that after 2 years are up on the contract, I will still find it quite useful. It might not be the latest and greatest in 2013, but I really don't care about that.
5) It has a kickstand, which ties in with number 3.
6) I am highly likely to be able to lock in the $30/month price for 3G/4G if I do it now.

Lol, Bionic comes out in Junish territory. The TB comes out tomorrow. My answer before gave the advantage to the Tb...."What about the Bionic, it won't be the first but it will support it." Not sure what your saying here. Yes, bionic will support 4g. If that's your question. I know you want a good device but your speaking as if their both coming out soon. Id wait 4months for Bionic but if you dont want to wait then go for the TB. Another thing in this is TB may have better ram in numbers but Bionic has DDR2. TB will probably be hacked more than Bionic, but im sure bionic will be hacked lots as well.

1. I think he's talking about simultaneous voice and data, not 4g. Did anyone notice the att superbowl add saying that only they had the iphone that allowed this. They're getting desperate.

2. It bugs the stew out of me with all of the new screen tech that this thing only comes with a 480 X 800 lcd (not even s-lcd!) Less resolution than my D1s 854 X 480.

3. I saw 2 separate videos on youtube that showed a non-optimized Bionic crushing the TBs quadrant score (+/-1900) getting around 2300.

What is a QHD screen? Crap?

Qhd

@ ilikemoneygreen

If what was said at CES was correct QHD is going to be 960 X 540. And THAT's more like a dream phone upgrade.

This video clearly states slcd screen

Unboxing Video of HTC ThunderBolt Available - Softpedia

Don't get me wrong, I want to be wrong about the TB having an lcd screen, but that video is from early January and I have a company website and a five day old email from HTC saying that it is an lcd.

I hope you are wrong too. Lol ;) but how I see it is when I get my tb, if its not what im hoping it is, I always have 30 days to return. I just can't see them using a plain old lcd on the first 4g lte device
