why i wasnt getting 2.2

sooo i have been waiting mercielessly for the past week for 2.2 wondering where it is i was rooted and back tracked into stock thinking alright im set lets do this. waiting semi patiently, today i snapped i was like rant rant rant rant and did some searching on finding the manual update .zip found it and realized that when i reverted back to stock i went back to like stock stock and was missing the update before 2.2 en thus couldnt up to 2.2 maybe this tid bit of info will shed some like on there trouble good it if you wanna solve the problem dont feel like finding links again.

You might have saved me here...i did the exact same thing..was rooted for a week or so then unrooted to get the OTA..could u tell me how i could figure out if i did the same thing?? I tried the manual update and it keeps coming up with Instalation Aborted or something with 2 errors..

it outlines everything you need so check it out and read everything no sense in skipping around and breaking a perfectly good phone right ?

Uh oh...looks like im up to date on all that..the baseband and update 1 are the same...Now im startin to get worried here lol
