why nexus before droid?

It's not really that big of a deal. If the N1 didn't exist it would still take just as long for it to hit the Droid.

There wouldn't be an excuse to be jealous though...wonder if the Incredible will get it before we do...

Incredible has Sense UI... I doubt HTC will get an update out before Motorola.

Remember when the Droid came out it was billed as a "Google Experience" device it still is and therefore one of the favorites to be updated sooner.

you know verizon...they have to figure out how to squeeze the most money out of you.hence the delay in updates.and i'm sure they waited in the dark outside of the android building (behind the eclair) with spiked bats, and whipped someones ass when they came out over built tethering and usb
