why no advanced task killer on thunderbolt?

Task killers aren't good to use on android devices in general because they can slow down the performance of the phone by hogging up system resources. The android OS capable of managing its own memory and will shut things down as needed. VZW reps install the Advanced Task Killer on to just activated smart phones, but I believe they are doing more harm than good. They install the ATK app because they believe or have been instructed that the task killers will keep the phone running at it's optimum speed.

I work for Verizon and haven't been telling people about the task killer for about 8 months now. No good for Android phones.

Not good for any Android because it micro manages the OS uses unnecessary resources, and boggles down the phone when the Android OS is perfectly capable of managing itself.
