Why is the screen on the RAZR not as bright as the Bionics. Had them side by side and the Bionic screen looks much brighter. Even with the RAZR brightness all the way up. Also the whites looks really grey on the RAZR.

oh that sux about brightness. i'm sure it's stilll better regarding the pixels though which I hated on the bionic.

The Bionic's screen is LCD PenTile with RGBW pixel layout. The Razr is Super Amoled Advanced PenTile with RGBG pixel layout. The white sub-pixel in the Bionic is what makes the screen so bright and whites so white. Unfortunately, a con of Super Amoled screens is greyish/greenish whites but on the flip side blacks will be much richer and colors much more vivid than on the Bionic. It's pretty much pick your poison with all screen technologies.

Thanks for shedding some light on this for me. The screen tech is the hardest for me to comprehend, but you said it very well.

Nope the OG Droid's is still better. Everything is clearer on the OG Droid's.
I disagree with you completely. The resolution on the Razr is higher (everything to my eyes looks much crisper), blacks are deeper and colors are more vibrant.

The pentile bugs me so I guess thats why I think the OG Droid's is better. Thats why I am going for the Galaxy Nexus. Even though its pentile the PPI is so high you probably won't notice it.

HTC's screens look the "best" and most "true" imo, but you can't seen them well at all in daylight... so yeah, pick your poison...

the devs dont like the razr and the normal users love it.....after reading these forums for a few days now that seems to be the common theme....
