why so many 5.5.893 issues

From my polling and research it appears to me that the people still having major or even moderate issues are definitely in the minority. Reset your devices, THEN run the update. No joy? Get a replacement unit.

I didn't reset and mine is dern near perfect. Blown away by all these bad experiences so many people are having. I flippin love the Bionic!

I was offered a Razr replacement and turned it down. Was gonna try for a GNex but decided not to. I like this thing too much. Guess I'm lucky??

The complaints about the bionic got worse when the razr was announced, and worse again when the nexus was announced. I myself would have the company remedy the problem if it was really that bad. Maybe you have a bad device. Ive seen several people that got an upgrade to a razr for free so they could experience the 4g problems with it instead lol.
