But there is no legitimate reason other than being a little obsessive about turning stuff off and on. GPS is a necessary part of so many applications on the Droid it's silly to ever turn it off.
So, by your "logic", there's no reason to ever turn off my GPS receiver when I'm at home, even though my house has a metal roof on it, and GPS signals cannot penetrate it?
I'm sorry, this entire thread has become so bogus I'm out of here. Your assertions are baseless.
Enjoy your Droid with everything under the sun on all the time....but charge often. You'll have to.
