wifi in Europe

Can anyone tell me if I will be able to use my phone (wifi) in Europe for email. I know the phone won't work but need to keep in touch with family.

Any suggestions.

yeah it will work no problem just disconnect it from the mobile network and only use wifi

hey I was in europe earlier this year and my droid worked fine with wifi
