Wifi issues

Yeah my old Netgear router was pretty bad about keeping the signal, I had to downgrade the speed from N to G to get it to work. My new Linksys/Cisco router is much better and have not had much issue.

Our new cisco quit workin on us so we switched back to our old linksys and worked good for acouplr months niw does this. But now its workin again. And had the same problem in safe mode

Well if it quits again, I'd get a new router. Sounds like the best bet to me.

My wifi is really slow, and about half the time I load something it acts like it can't get a connection and won't load anything until I stop it and restart the query.

My power saving mode is off and I have the use more cpu to increase wifi on.

I didn't have this problem before the OTA a couple months ago so I think it's a software problem.

Anyone else have these problems with those settings still?

This is my biggest rezound complaint. After I wake the phone when not in use for a while, The wi fi signal shows strong, but I cant connect unless I toggle it off and back on again. Then all the emails I have recieved start coming in and other notifications. I have to do this alot. I have been everywhere in the house and it still does it.

Yes I restarted my phone. Both a quick reset, and pulling the battery.

And my wifi will show full strength, then drop to like 1 or 2 bars when it works. When it sits there trying to load and can't, it will show 0 bars. Then when I stop the loading and refresh it will go up to 1 or 2 and load the page, and show full strength again until I try to use the connection again somewhere else.

And it isn't me being far from the wifi. Remember, the wifi worked PERFECTLY before the OTA update, so this has to be a software glitch. I'm just curious if maybe it didn't effect everyone?

I know it sounds extreme but make Verizon replace it. Hopefully with a phone pre-OTA. I haven't experienced this problem but I've also adopted the No-OTA attitude.

Got mine 3+ weeks ago...post OTA so no choice there. It will do the above once in a while....I toggle the airplane mode and that fixes it right away. Fortunately it only happens maybe once a day so I can live with that. On my DX I had to toggle it on/off once every hour or more! Talk about annoying. Seems that with the Rezound, the times that it is likely to have any wifi glitches is in the evening....probably during very high usage times with Comcast.

I've have the same problem....... At least once a day, I have to turn the WiFi off then back on. Hope the ICS update will fix it.

Is it ALL wifi or just one you are having a issue with. I have had similar issues where its on the PC end. You may need to power cycle the modem and wireless router.

I've had this issue with all three HTC phones I've owned. The worst was my Incredible. My Dinc2 and this phone are bearable. I'm thinking it still may be a router issue. I don't have this issue at work on their wifi. I forget what brand router they are using at work but here at home I'm using Netgear.

This was posted using my Rezound.

It's all wifi not just mine.

And I'm not gonna get the phone replaced because I'm fine with just leaving 4G on at all times for now. Plus, I'd much rather HAVE the OTA update with the mobile data fixes than have to go back to that annoying crap.
