wifi tether help please

So I deleted all foxfi I had (3 of them) and now I went to *********** and downloaded foxfi 1.9.5 apk from 12/08/12 I think date is wrong but it was second one on list I'm gonna try this and let yall know what it does without the updates and the other add-ons from foxfi or pdnet. I remember b4 I rooted my maxx I had paid for the original foxfi and really had no problems so maybe this mite work if not I don't know what to do

If I am not mistaken, I think you need both pdnet and foxfi in order for the foxfi to work. Did the WiFi tether for root not work? (Not the VZ one).

Nope no luck not sure if it was the vz one it was green sorry don't know the one I need .... do u know? And do I get it from apk the foxfi by itself not working either but I'll keep trying

If you have the entitlement check on, then you should be using the Hotspot that is stock on the phone and you should no longer need FoxFi. That is the entire purpose of the entitlement check change.

That's what I was thinking but really its not working any of them I'm gonna go back and delete those apps and they and find a better SQlite Editor . It as free and I know the hack says it cost $2.99 but I can't find it in the play store . Is it under something else or do I need to get the apk and then install it

SQLite editor by speed software is 2.99 and I just looked it up. If you check the link I posted earlier, there is also another link for the SQLite editor.

WiFi tether for Root User is by Mueller Lemons Buxton.. Is this the one you downloaded?

If you paid for it before, it will say purchased and not free. Here is the screenshot of the 2.99 version.

Well..not sure then. Assuming you edited the correct line item..changed it to 0 and it saved, it should work.

I hope it was ... it was line 59 on mine I think and it did save its set to 0 but it don't work till show up on my laptop then when I click it it disappeares
