Yes on the shield. Scratching screens are no fun and they are easy to replace.

i havent seen any as of yet but im sure they will come out at or soon after release.


ill be using a screen protector but thats it... im pretty gentle on my phones. ive never had to return one that was damaged due to my mistake.

I think I will be getting one just for the screen itself and a leather pouch to hold it. I had the invsi shield for the bold I didn't do so well getting it on.

Wonder if Verizon/BestBuy will have any of this stuff for sale on launch.

I will not use a screen protector. Glass screens rarely scratch. If you scratch it hard enough to scratch the glass, most cheapo screen protectors would have failed.

Ghost Armor

I just had Ghost Armor put on. It makes the Droid look shiny and is still a breeze to use with the touch screen.

$35 and well worth it!!

I remember when I went in to Verizon to exchange my Droid with the call quality issues. The reps were horrified that I didn't have a screen protector on it. I slowly explained that it is very tough to scratch the glass on the phone, and told them about the multitude of YouTube videos of people abusing their Droids in an unholy manner. They settled down a bit at that point.

No. I refuse to use a screen protector. Even though I do use a small Zune pouch when I carry it just so its not bare in my pocket. I think most cases just add unnecessary bulk.
