Once it starts going out OTA, we get someone to pull the update for us and we md5 it against the leak. If it's the same, then, IT'S THE SAME. If it's different, we have to look at it. Never has that been done, however, contrary to the BS reports about things being different between leaks and OTA.

Well I was a good boy until Q4 came out so I threw 246 on. No worries even if different FXZ will come out at some point.

IM sorry but what apps other than chrome run on ICS and not GB? Seriously. Friends that I have who are not tech savy love android because of its customization and overall build quality. I seriously doubt there are many POPULAR apps that dont run on GB as opposed to ICS.

By the way, my brother has an iPhone 3 and he said IOS 6 update "screwed up" some features on his phone. So this problem you speak of (fragmentation) isnt exclusive to Android.

I'm more talking device and hardware fragmentation, not OS in this case. For instance, the Bionic has a peculiar way of dealing with pixel shaders, it is a nonstandard implementation. Every other phone uses a standard OpenGL supported implementation. The result is that a lot of times, a new game that comes out will simply show a black screen on the Bionic. I know this because I actually worked with Vector Unit to fix this on both Riptide GP and Shine Runner. We kept in close contact troubleshooting the issue, and that is what they found.

If i remember right it only took the Razr 2 days, maybe 3 to be completed. We'll see.

its because everyone started pulling the update as soon as they could and posting it for people to get and do it manually

Well it looks like there are getting ready to push out the update they just updated the production server an it hasnt been updated since june here is a pic (its the very top one)
