BTW, does anyone happen to know exactly WHAT a patch to enable JB support even does?

My guess is some kernel patch. Probably some kind of data thing where something in ICS would cause problems in JB. Just a guess though.

If you get 246 installed and working just do the ENTIRE 247 process over again. When it copied the 247 update to the SDCARD did the transfer show success?

Updated to 247! Sam, I like the changes, much clearer and straight forward! 247 slid right into the phone silky smooth. A looong pause on updating system and once over that hump it zipped along.

Considering the amount of people thinking 246 was *it* and now have to make this jump to 247 I think in a way you saved your capslock key on this forum.

Crossing my fingers.. your HoB has made this child's play but at the same time it would be very nice to be back on the normal "OTA path" as soon as 247 (or whatever) is finally pushed.

When you switch back over to CM10 on Safestrap partition, it works much better when you actually REMEMBER to reinstall CM10 *LMAO*
