Has anyone on .247 tried making a nandroid backup via Bionic Bootstrap for ICS? Mine keeps failing with "Error while making a backup image of /system." I've tried both internal and external SD cards and get the same error. I have plenty of free space on both (6.8gb free internal, 14.4gb free external). The Bootstrap app installs CWM-based Recovery v6.0.1.0. Very strange.

I just installed it today, mine is v5.0.2.5. worked fine. I got the one off Play.

Alright....I upgraded to VMWare WS 9 and will install Ubuntu on it so I can write this damn linux script.

Alright....I upgraded to VMWare WS 9 and will install Ubuntu on it so I can write this damn linux script.

Very nice Sam! Sorry I was asked to dinner with a pretty lady so I could not refuse! So you have an even newer version of the MAC/linux script needing testing?
BTW I do like WS9. it is what I run my windows VM's with.

Yes, I absolutely need the latest one tested cause I made major changes to it. I think I PM'd you the v4 link earlier. That'd be the one. I added root and made functions. Please test it and let me know if it works at all.

Having done a bit of scripting before, I can probably tell if it will work or not by looking at the code. I don't know if I'm up to re-flashing my phone tonight..

Thanks, but I think this is the same version I have -- at least the apk file is the exact same size, to the byte. Have you been able to make a nandroid with it successfully?
