Will do I will let you know the results but I tend to lean on the side of it all just working and MAC's are mainly BSD under the hood.
Only thing that might but us in the butt is drivers for the android on a MAC. Apple does not like Android one little bit. There loss.

I'll also give the root option a go around and let you know how that goes as well.
What's the worst that can happen? I have HOB to make it right!

Awesome. We'll get this mac/linux support done and have a worthy tool for the community equal to the windows version. I have an architecture now and a design for it in my head.

Done.
Also I was able to skip the root section as well, if that answers your question. (I generally don't like rooting/hacking my phone, I'll save that for my OG Droid ;D)
Like I mentioned before, this script is awesome. Couldn't have made it easier myself. xDD

I'm glad you like it. :) It'll get better. This was to lay the foundational groundwork out so I can build upon it and turn it into a full blown HoB for Mac and Linux. Function by function.

Got bored, Made the leap from .232 to .247 using HoB, nice work!

I need the touch recovery:) Bionic ICS Bootstrapper is failing backup at System.img

I'm being told root didn't work. ADB isn't being found properly. Not sure what's up with that yet. But, hey, we're making progress. People can at least update from version to version using linux/mac.

Wow, this Touch Recovery is awesome! Wonder why it's not commonly available? Even the clockworkmod site has N/A in the Touch column for the Bionic.

Thanks for the link! Seems the House of Bionic has many secret chambers.....

I just used the bootstrapper that boots on every restart and it worked. I didn't try restoring, tho.

But I've always wanted to try touch so downloading that now.

I was on .232 for a long time and used the various versions of safestrap to follow along on the unofficial CMs for about as long as I've had the Bionic (when it came out.)

-Bionic 6.7.247 via HoB

Agreed^

And....Well I'm backing up now. Thanks, you amaze me yet again props to your source

Deepest thanks to samurihl. I'm the dumbass than FXZ'd to 905 from 246 in error. The choice wasn't intentional, more obliviously stupid. But Sam stuck with me, pulled my ass out of the fire, and got me to 247. Anybody that's borked something, got that sick, panic trying to figure out what to do to fix it, when you should be doing something else, knows how greatfull I am for Sam's help. Whoever writes Sam's paycheck for his day job, better appreciate who they've got on their team.

Yep, I'm rooted via the HoB. I've been making nandroid backups since my OG Droid days so I'm familiar with CWM and how it works.

Just installed the version SooCold posted -- it installs CWM v5.0.2.5 just like the Gingerbread bootstrap does. It's working though -- making a backup as I type this. Very strange.

Ok lol sometimes people forget to root after HoBing
