Moto originally made some bionics an the razr family with the omap 4460 but stopped becuase of the cost so about 1% of bionics and razr family are in circulation with the omap 4460 but are locked in at 4 or 5 cpu slots ie 1 ghz or 1.2 ghz an honestly I dont know if HoB will fix it once u unlock the cpu slots there is no going back but on a omap 4430 the worst the modules will do is either fail in cwm or softbrick the phone

Can anyone please point me to a link anywhere that states that any possible version of the Bionic has the 4460 chipset? I'm about to get into a heated (but friendly) argument and I need something definitive to reference before I jump into the scrum. This is against an Apple fanboy so I want to make this hurt just a little. :) He thinks the iP5 will be better performing than any Bionic.

Don't know if I'm way off here or not, but I googled bionic and 4460 chipset and was directed to Wikipedia page (OMAP - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). If you scroll down the tables to OMAP4 you will see that the Bionic is listed as having a 4430 chipset. However, directly below are the specs for the 4460 chipset and they indicate introduction in Q4, 2011. I would guess that some later production models of the Bionic could have received that chipset.

Hope this helps...

As a former iSheep, I can say there's hope. Just very, very little.

I, too, will admit to owning a couple of Apple devices (MacBook and iPod Classic; they worked well together for music), but never could drink fully from the glass of Kool-Aid and therefore was spared further immersion.

Actually it seems that all very early or very late (as in Q1 2012 16Gb) are all 4430s and the 4460s are in between. A 16Gb with a 4460 is sadly a real rarity.

Sad indeed as my 16GB Bionic falls into the latter category. I can't find it now, but at one point I found some documentation that my Bionic was produced on or about March 21, 2012.

Conversely, my Bionic has always recognized 1.2 GHz clocking since I first started installing ICS leaks...

I had an ipod 4th gen, got it for xmas in 2004. Had it forever, it finally broke a few months ago. I will say that it was quite a simple and sweet device. Sad it's dead. That was the only apple product I've had.

Yes, iPods do music well. When I think of it, I recharge mine and rock on... Haven't added anything to it in years as I prefer my music the old fashioned way--on vinyl.:)

How much does yours say you have. When I check it says I have 840MB. (I'm viewing my running apps and adding the used ram with the free ram.)
