No reason to leave as there's no rule that you have to belong to only one forum. I belong to several and just to so some more than others. I forget the last time I was on Howard's Forum.

I think what he's saying is that with those two gone...there really isn't anything worth coming for....what's so interesting now? You going to read the 500th thread about how to improve your battery life? Or the 10th tread about "I'm ditching the bionic for an xxxx"

I still pop in on hofo from time to time as well. I still follow their stuff on Facebook and every now and then go there for details about something they've posted on Facebook.

Lol as there is some truth to those examples... but there are also a lot more phones out there than the Bionic that we try to provide information and support for.

I want to thank the mods for the links to the new hob home. I think that was a class act.
I come here for information about apps. When I had the OG Droid I never rooted and didn't care about ROMs etc (still don't). With my Bionic I'm on .905 (unrooted) and at present I'm not interested in installing any of the leaks or any other mods. In fact, I rarely look at this thread and just looked in this morning.
It's like a car. Some people get one to drive and others want to modify it. Same car, but different owners and both ideas are valid.
That being said, I'm happy to tell others how to do it and if they ask I'll send them to the other site. I'll probably join, but not contribute much.

Not one person looking for support was ever turned away, not even those who got real nasty with him first. He might get upset and make someone that wouldn't do what he was asking them to do swallow a little pride, but this is the real world not kindergarten, deal with it.
Anyway, it's looking like it's no longer a problem for Driod Forums. There are more Developer and user friendly places to go on this big ol' internet Al Gore invented for us!
I feel the mods have often taken a line to Punish the entire Bionic Community just to appease a few people who refused to read or follow directions but come on here feeling entitled, and that everything and everyone should just drop to their knees because is just about them.
Entitled?? Did the new improved welfare dept start giving out free Bionics now. I knew about the free phones but I didnt know about the smart phones. Sorry but I have learned to hate that word, entitled. More and more it means the exact opposite. It now usually means unearned, unappreciated, wasted and unmaintainable.
Maybe Sam should of had a 2 tier pricing system. Free to us dumb**s' that waanted free help and $100/ hr for those hapless but sweet and genteele folk that needed a kind word more than a working cell phone. That would seem fair.

Yes we do have some great other sections....but I own a bionic, so for now I'll be going where the greatest support and knowledge will be...I may frequent the DF news section once in a while though
We hate to see anyone leave but we'd like to thank EVERYONE for their support over the years. We hope to see some of you again, but if not we wish you the best!
