Wireless tether

Anybody know of a wireless tether app that works for GB 2.3? I've tried barnacle and wireless tether 2.0 and neither work

No, look around the d2g hacks section for "radio hack". You use a piece of software called radiocomm on your computer to get passed verizon's tether block.

Wireless tether 2.07 I think is what I'm using and it works great.

Wireless tether 2.7 works for me also. There is a wireless tether 3.0 beta, you can try that.

Do we also need the radio hack in conjunction with that app? I tried wifi tether 3 beta and it's not working. It's running on phone like it's working, but no wireless network shows up on laptop.

Ok... I did the hack where u tweak the 3G local.prop but when I click on the link to download the radiocomm or whatever it starts to download but fails.
...any suggestions????

You are downloading it on your computer correct? It will fail on your phone

Some clarification is requested. The OP is asking for wireless tether on Gingerbread 2.3.........But am I correct that wireless tether is gone once you are on GB 2.3 even if rooted unless you do the radio hack process ?
