With Oreo update, no blue filter options?

I was wondering if Oreo added a blue light filter. I may be wrong, but is it correct that you can't use an app to filter the blue light out of you update to Oreo?

did a bit of research on this and could not find anything other than it cannot be done yet for your phone. guess the best thing you can do at this time is just to keep the brightness low.

Right now, I just use an app. But the thread I linked to made it sound like the apps will no longer work after the Oreo update and that Oreo will have no native filter built in.
