Won't debug

When I check allow USB debugging and plug it in to my computer, nothing happens. It will not recognize my device. It will charge when plugged in.

A couple of points:

Cable - are you using the one that came with the phone?

Driver - you need to search around for a link to the Samsung drivers or try this (I did and it worked): [ADB/FB/APX Driver] Universal Naked Driver Beta 0.5 - xda-developers

Adding to bayou, the nexus has been setup a little different. The device shows up with the name but under other USB disconnect icon in tray it will be labeled MTP device. You will use file explorer to transfer files to and from the phone. You may have already known this but I didn't and got very frustrated at first because I was used to my dx and bionic.

It was just the cable. I was using the one that came with the car charger. When I used the Verizon cable it worked fine

mine wont work on any pc. tried with many cables. use to work. now it just charges
