Working CWM Recovery!!!

VZW has done their own work to make this even more secure than the Korean version I believe, and LG had said they were working on releasing a bootloader unlock tool for the Korean version but their was no chance of that happening to the VZW version thanks to Verizon and their insane need of control over their phones.

So I let the pc trick me. Told me there was a software update...it was to the 11A which we are already on...

There arent any extra kernels, i mean jelly beans comes with its own kernel, but nothing seperate to install. I was just sayin if you tried to boot in to the old cwm recovery while running the new jelly bean update, you will get a kernel panic error. So once you get updated to jellybean, use the newer version of cwm that i posted

So there is in fact a Jelly Bean update!? =)
Official? Did time discover by notification, pc, or is it unofficial?

By the way, has anyone come across a JB cab file to download yet? In case a fresh install is needed, I hate to re-flash the ICS cab file then to have to do the OTA again. Thanks.

You may have to install the ics cab for the update to take if you're already rooted. Yes you'll have to reroot. Ive posted a new root method and recovery in this forum

Hey guys I have a problem with the cwm from the first post. I have a rooted Spec 2 on Jellybean 4.1.2. After I hit the "2nd-init button", everything seems ok, then I hit the button below the "Reboot Recovery" button to come up to a kernel crash. I tried the cwm again except the 2nd time except instead of using this app's reboot recovery I used another's. The result was an automatic factory reset (which, I didn't mind since it already had a factory reset done earlier). Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?
