Wow UD 3.1....18 hrs on a single charge?

i dont even get 9 hrs with an 1800mah battery with the inc. before this rom/kernel i would get 7 max. slayhers new kernel is much better i think

W/ 3.1!? U should be double I would assume. What kinda usage?

I would have to say average data and text. Turn screen off when not in use. But (ahem) i use it to make phone calls and am on hold a lot. Even days i don't use the phone i may get a little more. Maybe 9hrs. Doesnt matter which kernel or rom i use.

Installed it this afternoon, after completing the initial sign in and downloading apps using WiFi I had went from 100% down to 60% in about 20 minutes. Back to MIUI for me.

Did you wipe battery stats?

Yes, I wiped everything. The phone was fully charged before the flash as well.

Is everyone using the built in CPU feature of UD, or are you using a third party application like SetCPU? I always used SetCPU but my battery life hasn't been the greatest.

I use setCPU, and my battery life has been quite good, but I'm skeptical. I'm using the stock kernel, and have tailored the memory manager's limits down quite a bit to keep it from killing stuff so frequently. Not sure if that has anything to do with this or not.

I use stock everything with UD. No need for 3rd party apps.

Perhaps for you, but not in general. The governor choice and min/max setting that UD sets up is fine, but if you want profiles, UD doesn't provide that.

I'm having really good luck with the stock kernel so am reluctant to change, but I've always liked slayher's stuff. Got a link to the latest?

i know this prolly a dumb question, but will this support the wiimote on the incredible, i seen videos of it online with the incredible but have yet to find a rom that will let you sync it.

I'm flabbergasted.

Anyone else getting rediculously good battery life?

29hrs 45mins+ and down to 15%. been using it regularly since i found out about this and so far so good.

Trust me, there is no denying gingerbread has brought improved battery life.

I got 11 hours total time, 6 hours of screen on | device in hand use on Droid @ 900mhz since the 2.3.3 merge.

That's not entirely true. If you shut down the phone and boot it back up and it has a higher battery percentage then when you shut it down, you will see those spikes. Happens on my D1 all the time. I use it a lot, battery life gets to say 40%, I turn it off for 10 minutes and boot it back up and it goes to 70%.

Nope. Phone was never on charger. Batt life is just that good.

Here's today's. Over 13 hours with 70% remaining. Still not a smooth line.
