haha well thanks but i wouldnt even classify it as a bash lol more of just ignorance to what I can actually post in this section

BUTTTT back on topic - i know best buy isnt gonna have the best prices for everything, but how low can one get? I liked how the article called it an idiot tax but at the same time that kinda bothers me - I wonder how many loyal customers found this article and now looking elsewhere to shop...

When it comes to a new toy, i don't cull out any store. I get the best price and then my wife doesn't take it so hard! :)

Although I completely agree with the "anti" correctness of their approach they are not alone. Wal-Mart does this nearly every week. In their ads note some items are in the "Sales" paper but have notes under them that read something like "Everyday Low Price". I love Best Buy but their prices are not the reason why. We are all apparently fans of Google so why not search based on the SKU or model or name using Google Shopping? BTW, I too am trying to figure out what Off Topic Discussions should consist of...

What's so hard ? Slide your Droid , input the product name , hit shopping . Or even easier , use the bar code scanner. It's showing you the price on eBay , Amazon , NewEgg , Buy , Best Buy , Office Max and another thousand stores . Do you think this requires patience and time ? Some of the products are cheaper , other more expensive , what do you expect , it's a business . Sometimes even the price on their website is 200$ lower than the one in store .

I think it's the fact that they were trying to pass it off as a sale that is getting to people.
