z4 root help

last time i sbf'd i couldnt reroot to save my life it just hung forever i googled z4 root d/l version 1.1 i was using 1.3 and 1.1 took like 10 seconds and i was rooted

So yeah.. i got the temporary root to work but it does seem pointless, it tells me it is rooted until next reboot but nothing is recognizing that my phone is rooted except superuser but its telling me it is outdated and is giving error on the update but saves a file to my SD** update so it does look like I had an older version so changed to the newet one and had shootme app recognize root at first no reboot and now once again not recognized as being rooted. Would really just love to at least use wireless tether but it tells me kernel is not high enough or something...
