Unfortunately my Mac does not have either the latest operating system or an Intel processor. Processor switched a couple of months after purchase (sound familiar). Anyway, I may put some songs on my laptop to check it out, however, I've had an 80gb ipod for a few years that continues to rock. Never wanted the microcomputer that happens to be a phone, for music listening.
I am pretty tickled with the program as well. But, I am using it to access pdf files of my work, from the field. So it is not just limited to music and pictures. I have not tried XLS or DOC's, but it looks like any file that has a corresponding application on the phone to view/use may work. I am fortunate that I already have my drive structures on my PC set up so that "sensitive" personal and work stuff does not have to be pathed in order for me to access these pdf files. I am still a little hinkey about the potential security issues, but I think a little common sense setting up the home/work PC can alleviate some of the possible issues.

If you have your ipod library on your Mac (and wasn't bought from itunes), create a playlist of the entire library and copy that playlist file to your laptop and stream the playlist from your laptop to your phone.
Currently streaming a 208gb itunes library and streaming my playlists just fine. Quality will obviously change depending on connection and your streamer computer.
All my MP3's and AVI files seemed to work ok. I did notice that some files that I had on my computer that did not have the proper codecs would not stream to my phone. Not sure exactly how zumocast works, but it seems that whatever plays on my computer should play on my phone. Will need to continue to test more files though.
i can't get for the life of me get this to workon my imac. The server keeps saying it's offline. any ideas? i emailed them so i'm waiting for a response.

I cant get it to add my C drive. The other externals work fine but not C. I deleted the desktop and zumocast folders so there were no C subfolders, but when I add C it just creates a zumo folder again. If I try to add it then after I get the "Zumocast has already been added to ZumoCast and is a parent.of.."

Yeah it takes a while for Zumocast to catch up when you change the folder shares. But you are correct, for some reason it doesn't let you add the entire C drive ; most likely because it's not going to add all of your applications and all the drivers for the computer, that would be useless and a waste of resources. You can, however, add your Users folder.
EDIT : Actually you can add all of the C folders seperately, just not the entire C drive.
