Good advice.

I forgot all about the Nexus phones. Been researching the HTC-One-M9 and LG-G5.

I've had a blackberry, Samsung and 2 Motorolas, think I'm going to try something different with my next phone. Unless the S7 is just that BA of a phone.

I had forgotten that the Nexus phones do have a lot less bloat, my GNex was pretty clean.
Also the Nexus phones can typically be easily rooted and the remaining Bloat then removed.

On my S3, S5 and S7 I use Google Voice for my voice mail while using the Verizon provided phone number. Earlier discussion I had on this forum suggests this might be a Samsung thing? I am not able to disable the Verizon Voice mail app. It takes very little room.

There has been some debate on Dxo Mark independence. For discussion here is their cell phone camera ranking.

I agree with iPhone 6s. Same size as the Maxx, great camera, I get the same battery life with the 6s as I had with the Droid Maxx.

Fantastic device. It also gets updates, lots and lots of updates.

I'll never purchase an iPhone. I would say I'll never use one, but my company issued me a 4s. Phone SUCKS!

Different question, is it better to buy the phone outright and be free of contract.

Or wait andget the phone cheaper but be stuck under contract for 2 more years
