bad battery life with ginger bread

so before ginger bread i would get a good 12 hours of moderate use with the x2.

after gingerbread i fully charged my phone before bed lastnight at 1 am took it off charge and when i woke up at 7 am it was dead so 6 hours or less on stand by anyone else got this issue.

all my settings are the same as when i used froyo onlything on is my wifi and gps but they still shouldntuse that much battery.

ok i just checked and battery manager says 67% idle thats insane

Yeah it is chewing through my battery as well. Don't understand why everyone thinks GB is so hot. Every phone I've put it on has sucked with it or been mediocre at best. On my x2 it has worked no better or worse then my rooted Froyo did. Which is actually was quite good. I'm pleased for the most part but not raving like some have been about it.

If you're rooted, download battery calibration from the market. I read about another x2 user doing it so I figured id hive it a shot & it actually worked great. Night & day difference between yesterday and today.

When i was doing all sorts of stuff to my Fascinate before my X2, battery calibration App was a must. Try that first. I did my X2 last night.

Weird. Im over 12 hours since I unplugged the charger this morning & im still at 58% after moderate use. Thought maybe the battery calibration would work as well as it did for me! Hope you can get it figured out!

I updated to gingerbread and my battery last way longer than it did before. Some people are just lucky i guess.
