I just purchased my first Android phone a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I was wondering what kind of memory card should I buy? I'm new to all of this so your help is appreciated...thanks!!!!

It really depends on what all you're gonna put on it. If you root and flash ROMs a lot, I recommend a 32GB. I have a 16 in my D3 but want to upgrade.

Ok. Thanks!! I'm basically just wanting to store pictures, videos, and music. Do you think a 16g is ok?

I think 16 Gigs should be good for you. As long you don't have movies stored on there lol.

I'm using the 32GB I pulled from my Droid X. Never have too much room :)

The price of MicroSDs have gone way down. I plan on Picking up a 64GB Sandisk Ultra Class 10. Newegg has them for $60. I already have a Sandisk 32GB which I paid $80 back in January.

I purchased a sandisk 32gb from amazon for $24. It has worked perfectly.

Be careful. It is not uncommon for a seller time send a knock off.

Just bought me a PNY 16 gb at Staples tonight. Its class 10 micro HDSD micro sd card. Just wondering if this is a good memory card to buy??

I personally would not go below 32 gb. I do not do movies, just music and photos and eventually found myself running out of room when I had 32 gb total. I bought a class 10 64gb card off Amazon for $30. I downloaded every album I wanted from my computer and still have 40gb to play with.
