droid 16GB micro SD-HC card with droid x???

Hi, I just purchased a new Droid X, with a 2GB microSD card and first of all, what a great phone! I've been waiting a while for this one!(I've had the original Droid, which is also a great phone).

My question is this:
Can I use my 16GB microSD-HC card with my new DX? I installed it but it only reads what's on the card. While is "Applications" it does not show me what is on the card and I can't seem to transfer any apps to the card.

Will a MicroSD-HC card work with a Droid X?

Should I move all my apps from the card to my computer and then erase everything or re-format it?
