Fxz 246 and then flash jb

thanks. but I only have a Chromebook: will have to wait 2 weeks until I return home. :( Work clamps down on installed apps, etc. :( That is OK: I can SS using the latest CM ROM to hold me over. :)

For everone's edification: this is NOT a true STOCK ROM: it will not work if you rely on it to use the Jellybean OTA. :)

Update 04/16/2013

ICS file is fixed!!!!! No errors!!
Enjoy again.
Install as described. Then you can update to Verizon JB Soak.

* NOTE* - Once you achive Bionic JB 4.1.2 you Cannot use One-Click-Root again on JB. Will not Root on Jelly Bean OTA. Sorry. Only ICS.

UPDATED 04/17/2013........Please read ALL of post #1 before downloading files.
If you lost your stock ROM or Wiped it here it is.
1. Download link above(Factory Zip)
2. Extract or Unzip File
3. Copy or Move Folder to your Backups....(Ex). Sdcard-Ext/TWRP/Backup.....open Backup folder and Paste
4. Boot into Recovery
5. Select Stock ROM slot (Activate)
6. Select Restore
7. Select Factory Bionic Folder
8. Flash it ( Swipe )
9. REBOOT
Whala! Out of Box Factory Bionic.Enjoy

Hi, I copied the factory ICS restore folder to TWRP/BACKUPS/ but when I boot into safestrap and try to restore to it to Stock it does nothing and finishes in 0 seconds. I'm not sure why this is happening. Maybe a permissions issue? Can someone help?

Thanks,
Jam

Unzip the file first.
Open unzipped folder.
If you see another folder use that one
If not use just the unzipped folder to flash in SafeStrap.

Hey Fadty, I installed liquidsmooth. Awesome rom. I'm having an issue with the microphone when I put the phone on speaker while on a call. The other person can't hear me. Are you having the same problem. Any ideas how to fix?

Speaker problem is a known issue with 4.2.2 ROMs and just has not been worked out yet.

Are you planning on building an update file for SS like you did with ICS? So much easier than FXZing!

I'm totally subscribing to this for the safe strap jb. That's how I got the phone to ICS.

If someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it, I've been trying all Sunday to no avail.

So I want the OTA update to 4.1.2, I tried but it failed because I uninstalled some bloatware... but I'm not sure which ones.
So I figured the easiest way to get those back would be to revert back to 4.0.4 stock.
Problem is I cannot get RSDlite light to recognize my phone.

I tried re-installing drivers, tried rsd 5.6 and 5.7, tried all usb ports on my laptop, tried a usb hub

My setup
Phone:
Bionic
4.0.4 stock but rooted

Computer
Windows 8 64 bit
Updated motorola drivers
usb data cable

Anyone have any ideas?

BTW I want the OTA update for the car dock support, and I mainly want the update for the better voice (I use my phone in the car a lot). So my phone works fine, but its frustrating that it cant recognize a thing I'm saying
