I noticed when I got home that my battery door (which was loose anyways) had fallen off, and of course it wasn't in my purse, pocket, or car... the three places I had it where the door could be recovered :( So I have to get a new one. Anyone know where or how I can do this? Got my Droid in November, so it's obviously still under warranty... does warranty even cover something like this? Any help is much appreciated.

You can get them directly from VerizonWireless.com. However, i suggest calling them and they will most like send you one for free

Verizonwireless was shipping 3 free with free shipping last time I checked. I would go to the closest store and see if they have them in stock.

They are no longer free and haven't been for some time. They didn't have them on their site for awhile and now they are back up for $5.
The best thing to do is go to your local VZW Retail Dealer and ask for one or contact Motorola and get one.

This shouldn't be difficult to take care of. On your phone call *611 and have them send you another. Just explain that it never fit right since day one. If they say no, hangup and try again.

VZW phone support told me to go into the store to have them "inspect" my phone. I sure don't need any mouth-breather finger-fornicating my phone.

I emailed Motorola Support from their main Contact Us/Support page, had mine in roughly 6 days after my request.
