So I have a download failed ,software not updated message. When I check for updates I m told the system is up to date. How do I download the update?

Been running the SD Card formatted as internal for several days now. Haven't had any unexpected errors or hiccups with it. Running smoothly as long as I keep both the devices and the SD cards cache clean. Just an update but if I find or have any hiccups with it I'll be posting them for sure.

Has anyone elses wifi been killing the battery out during the course of a work day? While also being steadily connected to wifi during that time?

Yes, folks have reported the same thing on other forums. Some have said a FDR seemed to make it better. For me, Bluetooth is draining the battery very slowly after I stop using a BT device. It's not drastic, but noticeable.

Any reports of a bug fix for wifi or BT? Maybe a small update, patch, or anything? If only we could root the T2 haha. I hate to go through the process of a FDR but if completely necessary I would go through with it

Has anyone noticed that when adjusting ringer volume it does not give you audio feedback of the volume level?
That's the new Android M style, no sounds. But...as you do adjust volumes with M there is a drop down arrow and you can quickly set ALL volumes at once with the one volume slider. I like that way better than a tone for the one volume control on L.

Anyone know how to look at running apps? Use to be through settings>apps>running but can't seem to locate it now

I found the "running apps" list in developer options as soon as you pull up the developer options it is under the "Running Services" option. Pic is below :)
