It is a themed version of the market app. Inverted and blacked out to get rid of the ugly green

i had the blacked out 2.3.2 market installed, then flashed this. it didn't show up in my app drawer for some reason. so i flashed 2.3.2 again and now it's not showing up in my app drawer.

i'm on PE 5.0.2. anybody know what i did wrong?

ps. there's nothing to wipe data or cache from in my apps. ok, i'm going to try to install the extracted apk using terminal emulator. brb!

Did you look for Black Market, rather than Market, in your app drawer?

i'm half tempted not to answer you because this would make it the fifth time you've saved me this week you need a donate button.

it's not in my app drawer as black market or market. the terminal emulator install also didn't work

any ideas?

*edit* this is what i put into term emulator after pulling the Vending.apk and copying it to /sdcard:
su
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
cd /sdcard
install Vending.apk /system/app/Vending.apk
mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
sync
sync

it shows up in my /system/app but no dice.

When you go into root explorer, system/app, long press on Vending.apk, permissions, what do you have there? Should be rw-,r--,r--

rabbit, did you make a backup before installing 2.3.4? If so, restore just /system to get 2.3.2 back, then reboot and try installing 2.3.4 again.

i got rwxr-xr-x should i uncheck the executes?

rabbit, did you make a backup before installing 2.3.4? If so, restore just /system to get 2.3.2 back, then reboot and try installing 2.3.4 again.

my last backup was of 4.2 <-- that hurt to type after all the time si mentioned to backup on the bugless beast faq.
